This short hybrid documentary follows a Kazakh berkutchi (eagle-hunter) on his journey to tame his wild eagle, Sadak. Through the unique bond between the hunter and the eagle, the film offers a thought-provoking exploration of power relations that exist in a world torn between security crises and an insatiable hunger for hyper-connectivity. The film oscillates between states of control and submission, with the berkutchi, Sadak, a judoist, and a border control officer offering viewers their own bodily interpretations of the constantly shifting power scales.
